A five-story building, which is said to be a recently renovated old building on a hill collapsed onto an adjacent hotel in Buwelikada, Kandy this morning killing three persons including an infant child.

Very sad situation. Sympathies to the families of the deceased. The root cause must be found, if it was due to any underground erosion as others too will not be safe including the Dalada Maligawa
