The Colombo bourse ended another flat day of trading today where indices closed indecisively.
 

ASI gained marginally by 5.00 points (+0.09%) to close at 5,445.01 and liquid MPI lost 26.18 points (-0.54%) to end at 4,860.62. Market turnover stood at Rs.391.4mn

 

John Keells Hotels Plc (Rs.50.0mn) made the heaviest contributions to the daily turnover. Additionally Carsons Cumberbatch Plc (Rs.33.4mn) and Soflogic Holdings Plc (Rs.31.2mn) made significant contributions to the daily turnover.

 

In the meantime Textured Jersey Plc, Swarnamahal Financial Plc and Nestle Lanka Plc traded heavily during the day.

 

Foreign participation stood at 17.0% of the total market activity and at the end of the day foreign investors were the net buyers with a net foreign inflow of Rs.16 mn.
