A total of another 49 Covid-19 cases were reported from the Minuwangoda factory cluster increasing the total number of positive cases detected from the cluster to 1,899, the Information Department said.
Among the positive cases, thirty-five are from the quarantine centers while the other 41 are reported as close associates of the Brandix workers.
Earlier, a total of 68 people tested positive for COVID-19 from the Minuwangoda factory cluster this afternoon.
Accordingly, a total of 110 cases had been reported so far today.

As it is proven that this company was the source of this new outbreak, why are there no arrests??? The costs of the medical expenses as well as creating new temporary hospitals should be forcefully recovered from Brandix. Who is protecting them???

So this is now "Minuwangoda Cluster" not Brandix Cluster. What about "Welisara Navy Camp Cluster" months ago. Why you people just did not call it Welisara Cluster?
