The PCR test conducted during the postmortem examination of the Kollupitiya Police Crime Division OIC, who died this morning, has confirmed that he had not contracted Covid-19.
The OIC who was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital due to a sudden illness passed away this morning.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said Chief Inspector Nishantha (42) was collapsed and hospitalized due to a sudden illness while exercising at the Galle Face.

The tests are very unreliable and depends on the person . Do not take it for granted if you test negative you are free.

I am sure if tested again it would show he was Covid positive. We need answers to this mystery of OICs suddenly dying all in short space of time in Sri Lanka.

PCR tests become positive when in reality when its negative for a certain minority group so that all end up cremated.
