OIC complains alleging ASP abducted his wife

The Kiribathgoda Police are investigating a complaint lodged by an OIC of a police station in Gampaha division against an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of the CID alleging that his wife had been abducted.

According to the complaint by the OIC, the  ASP was traveling in his official car on the Kandy road along with the OIC's wife and when he followed them the ASP had entered a businessman's house at  Dalugama in Kelaniya on the Kandy Road.

According to the sources, an argument had taken place between the two parties and the OIC had lodged a complaint with the Kiribathgoda Police.

Accordingly, the Kiribathgoda Police are conducting an investigation into the complaint.(MRK Pinto and Prasanga Perera)
