All train services have been suspended until Monday due to the islandwide travel restrictions, the Railways Department said.

Better hand over the railway to the private sector and they will upgrade it and also provide a better service and make profits. on the other hand they will also pay govt taxes. The railway dept is making a tremendous loss and people have to carry this burden. Give it to China and they will do a good job.

This is a clear indication of the dire state of the economy. If the economy is functioning normally it is not possible to stop rail services for three days.
