UNP Kelaniya organiser Bewan Perera’s son Manjula was today arrested on charges of assaulting Lake House photojournalist Gayan Pushpakumara.
He was arrested on a complaint made by Mr. Pushpakumara to the Keselwatte police that he was assaulted when covering the incident where former minister Champika Ranawaka was brought to court last night. (Nimanthi Ranasinghe)
