Chamal Rajapaksha was sworn in as the Minister of Irrigation while Dullas Alahapperuma was appointed as the Minister of Power.
Johnston Fernando got the Ministry of Highways.

Chamal does not know anything about water management. He prefers to deal with China and not with specialized engineers from democratic countries like the Netherlands. Because Dutch engineers have to answer for all costs, money taken etc. So he is not able to bribe them. My excellent Sri Lankan colleagues are never consulted by him ever neither. So much bribe money will be wasted again on China

You are right. He is not an engineer. His profession is police officer. But in Sri Lanka you don't have to be educated or to have skills to enter the government. Only have to be a member of the royal family

There is no ministry for Salt and Pepper production and another Ministry of bicycles and three wheelers!

Another wasted Ministerial Appointment. Chamal should have been appointed a State Minister for Defence.
