While saying that the immune system of 60-70 percent of school students remains at a strong level, Director of Primary Care Services attached to the Ministry of Health Dr. Priyantha Atapattu said the tendency of school students being susceptible to Covid-19 is low.
Addressing the media today, he said it was also important for the students to consume a meal in the morning comprising of red rice, leafy greens, vegetables and fish to further boost the immunity.
“It is also recommended to frequently eat fresh fruit, food with vitamin D, C, A and to expose to sunlight between 7.00 am to 10.00 am,” Dr Atapattu said.
“In addition, the students are requested to consume food such as gram, black-eyed pea (cowpea), sweet potato and also to drink clean water so that immunity would be increased,” he added. (Sheain Fernandopulle)

Our Health Ministry is big joke. The conduct no research on this virus. Just blind theories. The solution is to negotiate with the vaccine manufactures and the vaccine down. They do no even like to talk of the vaccine as it is costly. Cheap thing no good, good things no cheap.
