All persons accompanying tourists should undergo 14 days quarantine

Under the new Covid-19 health guidelines issued for managing tourists, all persons accompanying tourists including tour guides, safari jeep drivers, bus drivers, other drivers, assistants, translators, unless attending in full PPE, should undergo 14 days quarantine.

Those who undergo14 days quarantine would be under the supervision of the local health authority including PCR testing.

A set of Covid-19 health guidelines was issued by the Director-General of Health Services for managing tourists who will be visiting Sri Lanka after reopening of the airports from January 21.

Please clarity. what is the procedure or what happens when 2nd PCR test is Positive. later 3rd test is also positive?

Very simple-minded and naive to believe that people are going to stick to 14 day quarantine every time they deal with a tourist! That means earning for two days in 28 days! - Never going to happen!

I will not come under these guidelines, after 37 visits in 33 years. Sorry, the change that i will get Covid-19 in Sri Lanka is bigger then that i will bring it after all the tests i have to undergo before i can fly.
