The Meteorological Department today predicted thundershowers in many parts of the country in the evening, including the Western province ahead of the World Cup match between Sri Lanka and Australia at the R. Premadasa stadium in Colombo.

“Thunder showers are expected in Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces in the evening as the country is heading towards inter-monsoon period,” an official of the department said.(YP)
