A report is to be submitted soon to Army Commander Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya calling for the holding of a third Court Martial against General Sarath Fonseka over alleged illegal tenders carried out during his term as the army chief, Military sources said.
Some 5000 files regarding the case have already been studied and a report will now be submitted to the serving Army Chief and a third Court Martial is likely to be convened within three months, Military sources told Daily Mirror online.
Daily Mirror online reported earlier this month that the Court Martial is expected to include six colonels and one Brigadier. The first court-martial is inquiring charges that the retired four-star General had conspired against Rajapaksa and his family members, besides engaging in politics while being in uniform.
The second court-martial is looking into charges of violation of military procurement procedures by Fonseka. (Daily mirror online)

let the court martial to go on and decide whether he is innocent or wrong. Then it is up to the president to give him a pardon
