Ragging is stupid. S.L universities will never achieve the status of universities in Asian neighbors like China, Malaysia & Singapore.

As adult university students, each individual must have the right not to get bullied by some other individual. We should be glad that some individuals have the courage to stand-up against these bullies. Authorities should prosecute the bullies under the law of the land. Only close the university as a last measure. If this were to happen in a private institute, the offending student would be expelled, in no time. It should be the same with all taxpayer funded organizations.

Students, are but part of society. This represents the uncivilised status promoted by the so-called 'leaders' ... No point in blaming students.

NDT does not belong to any of the faculties (viz. Engineering, Architecture & IT) of the University of Moratuwa. It's governed by a separate institute to provide middle level technicians, to the industries. Moratuwa undergraduates are smart enough to keep to their academic work, rather than working for someone else's political agenda.
