Monks begin satyagraha demanding release of monk in custody

Buddhist monks attached to the National Bhikku Front began a satyagraha in Fort today demanding the release of the Venerable Dambara Amila thero, an ally of Presidential candidate Sarath Fonseka, who was taken in by the CID for questioning yesterday and was later produced in court.
