Vignash keep your comments to your self because you are displaying your ignorance to the whole world. Before you pass judgement on a person get your facts right. Guy was and is a well respected person in the Society and he represented his Country with pride and loyalty. If you can't say anything nice don't say or write rubbish. Shame on you.

I agree with r.perera. In addition you might need to consider getting some basic mathematics lessons and learn a bit about paying due respect for people who deserve it.

Vignash - you fool what do you know about Guy De Alwis. We who knew him knows his capabilities with the bat. He fell off from the SL side because he was not boot licking the selectors. Even Arjuna will vow for this. Therefore if you do not know the reality do not make foolish comments after a mans death - you ignorant fool. As someone says go and seek medical attention from a mental hospital.

Vignesh, if I remember right, in one ODI s against the Aussie, he equaled the world record for the most number of dismissals behind the wicket. How you judged him I don't know, what I understand is you don't know much of S.L. cricket.

Ruwan Gunasekera Wednesday, 23 January 2013 07:15 AM

    Sad to hear. Good Cricketer.
    RIP Guy.

    r.perera Sunday, 13 January 2013 07:50 AM

If you saw his dismissal of Greg Chappel you would not say that. He was the greatest hard hitter then, as small made sri lanka team was struggling to hit sixes in eightees. I witnessed his innnings of 1979 centenury Royal Thomian where he hammered two massive sixes to Sudath Pasqual over Royal tents at the SSC. Vignash, if you do not know the history keep quite. I am a former Royalist. RIP Guy, your massive hits will never to forget.

    r.perera Sunday, 13 January 2013 07:51 AM

You badly need a crash course in English.

    BudinOz Sunday, 13 January 2013 07:54 AM

Your comment shows how knowledgeable you are on cricket.
Guy was one of the best wicket keepers we had, like Mahesh Gunathilake.
