Swift Water Training underway in Puttalam

A Search and Rescue Swift Water Training Programme coordinated by the Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD) is currently underway at Gangewadiya in Eluwankulam, Puttalam. Its practical exercises were held at the Kala Oya estuary during the last couple of days and the final exercise of the programme is scheduled to be held at the Rapid Action Boat Squadron’s Headquarters (RABS HQ) on January 23, the Navy said.
