Prof. Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa temporarily appointed as SLFP General Secretary

Professor Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa has been temporarily appointed as SLFP General Secretary at the SLFP's Central Committee meeting, while Minister Duminda Dissanayake was temporarily appointed as SLFP National Organizer.

Parliamentarian S.B Dissanayake has been appointed as Treasurer of the SLFP.

President Maithripala Sirisena has been appointed as the President of the SLFP.

Former Presidents Chandrika Kumaratunga and Mahinda Rajapaksa, former Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne were appointed as the Advisors to the SLFP.

At the meeting, Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva and MPs Susil Premjayantha, John Seneviratne and Anura Priyadharsana Yapa were appointed as Senior Vice President of the party.

Minister Sarath Amunugama, Mahinda Amaraweera, Shan Wijelal, Dayasiri Jayasekera, Sumedha P Jayasena and Piyasena Gamage were appointed as Vice Presidents of the Party.
