A Police sergeant attached to the Yatiyanthota Police Station was hospitalized after he was allegedly assaulted by its OIC last night.
Police said he was admitted to the Awissawella Hospital.
They said Seethawakapura Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) is conducting investigations into the incident. (DS)
