A 26-year-old man was arrested by the police on charges of possessing 12 counterfeit notes of Rs.1,000 in Horana yesterday.
Police said the suspect who is a resident of Batagowa would be produced in the Horana Magistrate's Court today.

With the present state of the economy counterfeit or genuine (?) make no difference. They are both toilet paper.
