The Senior Laboratory Controller of the Horana Rubber Factory where five deaths were reported in the ammonia tank tragedy was arrested by the police today in connection with the incident.
The Police said the 42-year-old female laboratory controller would be produced in the Horana Magistrate's Court tomorrow.

At the end of the day the poor lab controler has to suffer rest of his life while big guns of the factory get escaped. This is what has been happening since we got independence in 1948 in this country.

Please arrest the owner. How is he running this factory without following required safety regulations? He may be bribed to relevant authorities. Please investigate.
