IWW Steel stall receives overwhelming visitor response at Jaffna fair

IWW Steel, a leading steel bars manufacturing company in Sri Lanka participated in the seventh Jaffna International Trade Fair. The company’s stall at the trade fair was much admired by the visitors. 

In addition to introducing IWW Steel products, the company’s quality assurance manager, Abu Nidal conducted a workshop for visitors at the stall who are potential customers. The workshop educated visitors means of selecting correct steel bars for varied construction requirements and usage of steel bars to have enhanced productivity. 

IWW Steel Company has branded its products under RS brand name. The company’s product RS QST RB 500 steel bar is made to international standards with the best quality imported iron billets and with latest technology and chemicals to add extra strength. The Sri Lanka Standard Institute awarded SLS 375:2009 standard certificate to RS QST RB 500 steel bar in 2015. 

Ravi Kumar, Manager (Marketing), IWW Steel Company speaking of the overwhelming responses received by consumers for the company’s stall at the trade fair said creating proper awareness of the company’s products and their uses among visitors was the reason for this popularity.

P. Shivanasan, Marketing Executive said, “It was an honour to be one of the participants among 350 odd reputed companies that participated at the Jaffna International Trade Fair. IWW Steel Company stall drew attraction of visitors because presently many big and small construction projects are taking place in the North. We added value to our stall by creating awareness among visitors of our products, their uses and means to enhance productivity. We did this to add strength to the blooming social life in the North. IWW Steel workers dedicated their time and resources for this exercise. However the outcome became productive as potential customers were educated of means to minimize cost and engage in construction work”.
