Hundreds of people were seen gathered along the roads to pay last respect to Police Sergeant Suranga Pradeep Weerasinghe who was killed during the exchange of fire between the police and an underworld gang in Matara on Friday. Immediatly after this kind of insident government and police promise to help.but few years later can hear they never helped them.empty promisess.sp was beaten to death few years ago in jaffna while trying to settle a dispute.this honest officer living in rented home with family.up to today this helpless wife and children didnt recieve any assistence.
