Senadhipathi arrested by the CID at BIA

Avant-Garde Maritime Services (Pvt) Ltd Chairman Nissanka Senadhipthi has been arrested by the CID on his arrival from Singapore at the Bandaranaike International Airport earlier today, sources said.

He was arrested following an arrest warrant issued against him by the Galle Magistrate for violating a travel ban imposed on him.

The Special High Court is to take up the case against him today.
