Monday 24th August 2015: Galaxy Landmarks, part of the EAP Group, recently conducted a ground-breaking ceremony to commence the construction of the Galaxy Impala Complex in Rajagiriya. The ceremony was attended by the Company’s Directors and Senior Managers. The Chief Guest was Dr Soma Edirisinghe – President of EAP Group. Galaxy Landmarks is a fully owned subsidiary of the EAP Group and focuses on the development of cinema and retail/commercial complexes, which serve as one-stop entertainment and shopping destinations.

The Galaxy Impala is the first of a series of cinema multiplexes cum retail/commercial complexes that Galaxy Landmarks is planning to construct. The Galaxy Impala Complex will serve as an entertainment hub for the whole family and will feature 4 state-of-the-art cinemas with the latest digital technology, which will be operated by EAP Films & Theatres. The Complex will also cater to the lifestyle requirements of customers by offering multiple storeys of shops with a range of branded items and high quality local products, as well as food courts and several fine-dining restaurants.

Commenting on the Complex, Mr Mano Tittawella – Chairman/Managing Director of EAP Group of Companies stated, “We are pleased to commence the construction of the Galaxy Impala Complex, which is the first of several cinema multiplex & entertainment cum retail/commercial complexes, which are being constructed by Galaxy Landmarks.
