The Punagala mountain range has been ablaze for the last three days with about 60 acres being destroyed by last morning.
Asst.Director of Disaster Management for the Badulla District Udaya Kumara said the officials of the disaster management centre, the police and the army were attempting to douse the fire. He said the fire would decimate the fauna and flora in the forest reserve.
