Speaker accepts Sajith as opposition leader

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has accepted the letter sent by UNP General Secretary Akila Viraj Kariyawasam proposing UNP MP Sajith Premadasa as the opposition leader, Speaker’s Media Unit said.

The appointment of Mr. Premadasa would come into effect after the Speaker announces it officially when parliament convenes on January 3.

    I Sajith Premadasa will be the scapegoat in parliment for the next 4 months who will have to defend and wash the dirty linen of the currupt former Yamapalanaya Government ministers. Bond scam .
