Drug dealer ‘Beramulle Sameera’ & three others arrested

Notorious drug dealer Maduranga Fernando alias ‘Beramulle Sameera’ and three others were arrested by the STF with 106 grams of heroin in their possession at Palliyawatta in Wattala last night, the STF said.

The investigation revealed that ‘Beramulle Sameera’ was the mastermind behind the shooting incident in which two people were killed at Hekitta in Wattala on January 13.

The arrested gangsters were accomplices of underworld leader ‘Kimbula Ella Gune’, according to the police.

The suspects would be handed over to the Organized Crimes Division for further investigations, they said.(Darshana Sanjeewa)
