Sri Lanka Cricket said today that it would conduct an inquiry gainst Sri Lanka test captain Dimuth Karunaratne, who was arrested over the drunk driving accident, in order to take necessary action.
SLC said Dimuth is undergoing due legal procedures with regard to the incident and it will also follow the due process as per his ‘Player Contractual Obligation’ with the organization.
Dimuth Karunaratne was arrested this morning on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after his car met with an accident at Kynsey Road in Borella. He was later released on police bail.

Failure to take stern action in the past on similar incidents have led to all this. They think they are indispensable. Punish him so that all other cricketers will be on their guard

This is what happened to Srilanka Cricket. There is no discipline in the team. Captain should set an example to his team. No point in getting good coaches, changing minister and the selection board if the team is indisciplined.

Please stop the drama. It is the three wheel drivers fault, arrest the three wheel driver and send him to jail. The captain was not under the influence.

Disciplinary action should be taken against him. They think no end of themselves. This is the problem with our team
