The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) yesterday recorded a statement from former UNP Minister Harin Fernando with regard to an ongoing investigation into a complaint by former UNP MP Kavinda Jayawardane.
The former minister arrived at the CCD at around 10 am and left the CCD around 1.00 pm after making the statement.
“I visited the CCD and assisted the Police regarding the investigations on the purported video. I made my statement and the truth will be exposed soon,” Mr. Fernando tweeted. Earlier this month, former MP Jayawardane lodged a complaint with the CCD over a video circulating on social media.
