After a lapse of 30 (thirty) years an all island under 19 inter school cricket fixture between a team from Jaffna school –St. Patrick’s College, Jaffna and St.Thomas’ College, Matale  was played at Matale over the last weekend.

To mark this memorable occasion souvenirs were exchanged between the players of the two teams at a special function held in honour of the visiting team, before the commencement of the match on day one. It was organized by the Principal, staff and students of St. Thomas’ Matale.
