SLRC says no communication with Mercy Mission

The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society (SLRCS) said that it has no communication or contact with any other organization or third party other than the Indian Red Cross regarding  the 27 containers of relief goods sent  by Indian Red Cross  for the displaced civilians in Vavuniya IDP camps, This was after some Indian media reports said Sri Lanka Red Cross through the Indian Red Cross Society had demanded in a letter sent to  Mercy Mission U.K to remit Sri Lanka Rs 7.6 million immediately to carry out the distribution of relief goods to the IDPS camps in Sri Lanka.
