A protest consisting thousands of university students was staged today by the Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) authorities for the removal of the Vice Chancellor of the Sri Jayawardenapura University and against the bomb attack that damaged the student heroes statue at the university.  Pix by Pradeep Dilruckshana, Buddika Kumarasiri  WATCH VIDEO BELOW

    it was Gunarathnam's way of protesting against detention of wife and child. VC removal was was just a pretext. Who will look into the interest of those got stranded
