Why NFF, JHU, JVP are silent? They opposed a visit by Portuguese President's proposed visit in 2005 saying that this is neo colonization? Too much to handle....

We should completely clean this grave yard , Very strange that British looters are still being celebrated with different names .

I aw this cemetery for the first time last January. It clearly stands out in the area and surely can be made a tourist attraction.

If Sri Lanka was under British colonial rule we will definitely be a developed country with the resources we have. Sri Lankan politicians screw up this beautiful country.

I've been here, it was such a great experience! The caretaker is such a nice guy. Definitely needed a facelift! Like someone else said, it definitely needs be more of a tourist attraction!

It is because of them we still have Tea and Rubber and those road network to railways...

What all patriots did they left us.. From DS to MR..
They never let the common man develop for mere Political reasons.

Britishers ruled our country for more than 125yrs. they suppressed the locals. they killed hundreds and thousands of people. Now, the point i have is.. LTTE tried to divide the country by means of violence. they used most dangerous methods to kill people. in this context ( i repeat - in this context), i do not see a difference between the Britishers and LTTE. Here we are giving a facelift for the Garrison Cemetory of british army while we are trying to clean up the LTTE graveyards. double standards ??
