100% correct and nothing to be corrected. Cannot live on fantasy. Be practical. God will help those who help their selves.

Bodhi Poojas will never cure anything. The society has to move on from mythical believers to civilisation.

Bodhi Poojas will not cure Tony's Lung cancer. Only an Operation if diagnosed early enough and Chemotherapy might cure him. Bodhi poojas will work for mental illnesses. This is the reality dear cricketers. Note: I am a practical Buddhist who follows what Lord Buddha has preached.

Gangaramaya Temple of all places. The God Delusion.

    Managala Friday, 23 November 2012 08:25 AM

I respect your belief but better you do the same for others

    Managala Friday, 23 November 2012 08:27 AM

one cannot argue on faith, if so, everyone can tell each other your in a fantasy. respect for beliefs is required being. ignorant is not good thing...

    Managala Friday, 23 November 2012 08:46 AM

First thing Lord Buddha didn't preached to avoid well wishing events.
Second thing this news does not say that Bodhi Pooja was done to cure his cancer if you see the pictures it clearly says Tony , Get Well Soon !
This is act of well wishing through following a religious ritual not a act of showing miracles.a faithful act any religion would do with respect to their beliefs.
Note : Common thing to understand by a practical person.
