Video: Chain snatchers arrested

Two robbers who had been snatching chains from women were arrested by the Kahathuduwa Police today along with another person who had been purchasing the robbed items, Police said.

The suspects are said to be residents of Angulana. One of the three suspects was apprehended and handed over to police by the residents of Singhagama in Polgasowita while he and another had come in a motor bike and tried to snatch a chain from a woman. The others were taken in after questioning the suspect who was handed over to the police.
