Russian tourists everywhere have a reputation of bad reputation and not respecting the culture and traditions f the countries they visit. Most of these are newly rich without a proper upbringing and manners. At home they are normally racists, having no tolerance of dark skin or other religions.
Surprisingly there seem to be Lankans on this forum who also do not have any education or understand the importance to preserve the Lankan heritage. Tourists always have to respect the law and customs in the countries they visit. They are not holy cows. They should have been arrested and fined, not at least for harassing the CCF officials.
Director of the Sigiriya project should naturally have repotrted them. He is also a coward.
