Sri Lanka were bowled out for 105 a short while ago, in response to Australia’s first innings score of 273.

Debutant Nathan Lyon – who became them just the 12th bowler in test history to pick up a wicket off his first delivery – picked up five Sri Lankan wickets, as he took advantage of the excessive spin, conceding 34 runs in his 15 overs.

Tharanga Paranavitharana was the top scorer with 29 runs. (S. M. D.)

Dilshan should be dropped down. He is not suited for opening in a test match as he tries to punish every ball that he receives. He cannot stay around for one hour or more that is expected of an opening batsmen. Hope the selectors get this to his head. He should watch how Hussey accumulate his runs.

what is the use of making a spin-friendly pitch if we cant bat on them, we should have made batting paradise for first two tests and make them feel the heat of the weather then go for result oriented pitch in the last test
