Schools closed for Pope’s visit

Several schools in the Western Province will be closed from January 11-15 in order to provide accommodation for security personnel assigned for the Pope’s visit from January 13 to 15, Western Province Education Ministry said.

Secretary to the Ministry A.B. Daya Senarath said 54 schools would reopen on January 16, while seven schools would reopen on January 19.

    The names of chools mentioned in Kelaniya seems to be incorrect. There is no Good Sheperd Convent in Kelaniya.
