Protest at Kegalle CTB Depot

Kegalle CTB Depot Employees are staging a protest over the delay in the payment of their monthly salary, which was due from October this year.

The angry employees are alleged to have locked up the depot accountant inside a room.

Kegalle Depot Manager is holding discussions with employees and the Trade Union officials to sort out this matter. (Rohan Kumara)

    Poor people. Unlike private bus drivers, they hardly protest, express their anger or seek to meet their demands at the expense of the commuter. Yet they are not being looked after.

    Read in between the lines, the private bus crews work hard. The SLTB crews do not. Either run the SLTB efficiently or get lost.
