Possible gas from Qatar

President Mahinda Rajapaksa met with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in New York yesterday where he discussed the possibility of obtaining LMG gas from Qatar.

President’s Media Director Lucien Rajakarunanayake confirmed that the well being of the 95,000 Sri Lankans working in Qatar and the possibility of Qatar businessmen investing in Sri Lanka were also discussed. (DS)
