Subsequently, the Korean Embassy had informed the Presidential Secretariat regarding the incident. It has been revealed that a woman working at the Mahaweli Authority is involved in the deal.
The Organization for the Protection of Public Property has also informed the Presidential Secretariat.

Since she is a foreign lady from an important country, and has taken her complaint to her Embassy, she is quite safe. Imagine what would have happened if an ordinary Sri Lankan went to the Police or to the Mahaveli Authority to complain. Either the complaint would have fallen on deaf ears or the complainant would have got "right royal treatment".
Let all decent Sri Lankans thank the Korean lady for doing our job for us. A great soul she is, no doubt.

We do not know the deal, shouldn't jump in to conclusions, let them sort it out in the court.

Yes, I think she was just trying to do a good service to the country in which she is living for the moment; and what happens? People bash her for no reason.
Podi Guru Monday, 16 August 2010 09:47 AM
Amen. Which is what I just said in a previous comment, before I had read all of them.

It appears from the news report this woman was doing something positive for this country. She may be the wife of a Sri Lankan. And you just dismiss her by saying, 'Go back from where you came?'
Whether you like it or not, this country and no country now has the luxury of being unique and every body else stay out!

The woman must be having high connections, most likely to get away with it.

Efiel Tower was sold thrice by the same scammer in France to three different companies. When they came and started demolishing the construction the government authorities came and stopped it all the three times. How many people get scammed by the so-called Nigerian Letter?

I believe that Most of you has not undestood the contents in the article. The Korean woman residing on a land bordering the Mahaveli Authority land has observed this road and complained to her embassy so that it could be brought to the notice of the Authorities. If so this Foreign lady is more patriotic than our own. Thank you Madam.
