After all Norway is yet another country with which we have to be tactful. We we quite agree with President. How ever, we have to be watchful whether Norway is genuine in their activities in dealing with us. Ditto could be with SF if he is willing for the same gesture. Doubt very much !!!

What do you mean leave the past behind ? I thought MR would really give it to Norway when he met them - so that Norway would never interfere with another country's internal affairs. According to the government and the Lessons learnt commission, Norway is the main culprit for the problems we had. So why did MR take it so softly ? Are we scared ? At home we say we don't want Norway, but when we go out we change our tune.

Forget the Past?
Go tell those who have lost 40,000 loved ones, the widows, children, disabled, those who lost their land and property and the IDPs.

in a way Norway MUST contribute to the development of the north and the east for they are responsible for the damage they did to the area by backing LTTE.

To some idiots commenting anything MR does is wrong. Do not look at everything with Tamil/Muslim/Christinan/Budhist/Hindu/LTTE/UNP/JVP/UPFA spectacles. All these people comment from their narrow worldview without thinking what is good for the country.

What JHU & JNP has to say?. I think they have already developed a fantastic theory to justify the stand being taken by MR. Though someone may be called it a selfish move, we have to accept that there are no permanent enemies or friends in the political arena.

Let us FORGIVE, but remember the past and resolve the conflict so that we will not be condemned to repeat the past.
