The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) said today abstaining from voting at this election would be an act of support for the UPFA Government.

JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake accused the Rajapaksa regime of using this election to stay in power for six more years and is solely focusing on this matter. This is why the government is using Geneva as a tool,” he said

People should be alert and use their votes wisely and avoid the country from getting caught up in more corruption during the next six years as well.  (Yohan Perera and Sanath Desmond)

What about the destruction they did in 87-89 era!. it was far above the value of current context of corruption.

Voters must not fall to the Geneva trap when voting for freedom and against corruption of the government.

JVP is defunct outfit. Very soon it will disappear.

some say Govt is making use of Geneva issue to stay another six years but it is apparent that UNP and JVP are clinging with Geneva to curtail six years of the Govt's life time. They are day dreaming.
