Please deploy more helicopters and send supplies urgently to the trapped people. I know what it feels to get marooned by floods for several days. Good work SLAF and other forces.

it is a duty of the forces to help people and involve in rescue operations when a natural disaster arises. there is nothing to praise in this. this happens in all countries when natural disasters occures. over 400,000 people affected in the east. the rescue operations not enough should be expanded further.

Due to the climate change ( raising of temperature) more evaporation and more rain could occur in future. In Sri Lanka, we should try to harness the benefit of this natural phenomena by careful planning and construction of up-stream controlling reservoirs as well as trans basin diversion of rivers. (Eg, to divert kalu-ganga water to Hambanthota, to construct few up-stream reservoirs to Unnichchai tank for preventing seasonal flooding in Batticauloa and so on. )
