Former IGP Pujith Jayasundera and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando were further remanded until December 23 by Colombo Chief Magistrate today.
Earlier, IGP Jayasundera and Mr. Fernando were charged over their failure to prevent the Easter Sunday attacks by the Attorney General (AG).
Police informed the court that statements of the former President and the former Prime Minister regarding the Easter Sunday attacks will be recorded in the future. (Yoshitha Perera)
