IGP Pujith Jayasundera and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando were further remanded until November 16 by Colombo Additional Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage today.
IGP Jayasundera and Mr Fernando are charged over their failure to prevent the Easter Sunday attacks.

An IGP being remanded for long time, like now, has never happened in Sri Lanka before. This is a good warning to all Police personal in this country.

Feel sorry for Mr. Hemasiri and Mr. Pujitha. People who did crimes are moving freely in SL. Why punish these elderly people, without any wrongdoing.
