Debate on PCoI report: President calls party leaders, secretaries for urgent meeting

A special discussion is scheduled to take place today between President Maithripala Sirisena and the leaders of all political party.

Party leaders and secretaries have been informed to be present at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo at 10.00 a.m. by the President’s Office.

According to sources at the President’s Office the main topic to be discussed is the bond report put out by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI).(Ranjan Kasthuri)

    President has suddenly become too busy on the reports. Remember, he is also representing a party. Appropriateness of this move is questionable. Country has so many priorities. Everything is forgotten now.
