Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today ordered eight employees of the copper factory in Wellampitiya, to give statements to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) from tomorrow to June 01.
Altogether, nine employees of the factory which belonged to the Cinnamon Grand suicide bomber Inshaf Ahamed were arrested and later on released on bail.
One employee named Karupaiah Rajendran alias Abdullah was later on arrested again.
Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court’s Additional Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage today ordered to remand the suspect till June 10 and ordered the other eight employees to report to the CID. (T. Farook Thajudeen)
