The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) recorded an eight-hour long statement from former Navy Commander Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda today.
Admiral Karannagoda arrived at the CID this morning to give a statement over the abduction and killing of 11 youths in 2008-2009.
The Supreme Court earlier ordered the CID to record the statement from Admiral Karannagoda. The SC also issued an order preventing his arrest.

Double standard judicial process in Sri Lanka. |He is involved in murders and witness have confirmed it but he is not arrested, at the same time the CID Officer is locked up but he has not murdered any one but there is only a statement made by a guy who has abandoned armed force service.
