Anuki Chamathka tops O/L rankings

Anuki Chamathka of Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo topped the island rankings at the GCE O/L examinations held last year, the Examinations Department announced today.

S.M. Munasinghe of Mahamaya Girls' College, Kandy clinched the second place while R.M. Sugath Ravindu Sanwara of Ananda College, Colombo and Dimith Oshadhi Mirissage of Rahula College, Matata were placed third in the rankings.

Meanwhile, H.B.Pabasara Malithi Kumari Herath of Rathnavali Balika Vidyalaya, Gampaha ranked the fourth place.

D.M. Ranumi Dhisarani Nanayakkara of Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo and A. Damsara Medhavi of Sanghamitta Balika Vidyalaya of Galle and A. Abhinandan of Hindu College, Jaffna ranked the fifth.

K.G.G.E Randini de Silva of Southlands College, Galle and E.A. Yasara Umashi of Sujatha Balika Vidyalaya, Matara ranked the sixth place at the GCE O/L rankings. (Chaturanga Pradeep)

    Well done girls n lads. Do the same in the AL s go to Uni and show the rest what it means to be educated visionaries this country so badly needs. Show the rest of the Uni unions all they are doing is pulling this country further down. Show those selfish grads that medicine is a previlage thats not only entitled to the gourvenment sector.
